Sam founded Healthia in 2013, to focus on increasing the effectiveness of services through collaborative human-centred design. He has built a team of consultants with deep expertise in health, care, public and third sector who share a simple but powerful goal: creating better experiences to deliver better outcomes.
Sam understands the challenges facing our clients, especially the need to:
- Extend reach and impact of services.
- Deliver measurable impact quickly and cost-effectively.
- Create inclusive services considering low digital literacy or accessibility needs.
Sam’s earlier career shaped his pragmatic yet creative approach, through digital and UX roles at lastminute.com and the BBC. He has previously led research and design on BIMA and BAFTA winning projects.
Sam also hosts the Problems Worth Solving podcast, where he explores transformative ideas in health and care with leaders and innovators, exploring the impact of user-centred design and service innovation.
